Please review these terms before booking.
These Terms & Conditions apply to taxi, cab, car rental, tempo traveller and tour-package services arranged by Maa Sharda Travels through www.maashardatravels.in, phone, email or WhatsApp.
1. Enquiries and booking confirmation
A website, phone or WhatsApp enquiry does not by itself confirm a booking. A booking is confirmed only after we accept the requested route and schedule, communicate the applicable vehicle and commercial terms, and receive any required advance payment.
Customers must provide accurate pickup, destination, date, time, passenger count, luggage and contact information. Vehicle images are illustrative; the confirmed vehicle may vary by registration, colour or model year while remaining within the agreed category, unless a specific vehicle is confirmed in writing.
2. Fares, inclusions and payments
Quoted fares depend on route, travel date, trip duration, vehicle category and availability. Unless expressly included in writing, tolls, parking, permits, state taxes, driver allowance, night charges, waiting charges, accommodation, meals and attraction tickets may be additional.
Any advance, balance-payment timing and accepted payment method will be shared during confirmation. Customers should keep proof of payment. We do not ask customers to submit card, bank-account or government-identification information through this website.
3. Pickup, waiting and itinerary changes
Pickup times are estimates affected by traffic, weather, road closures, public events and other conditions outside reasonable control. Additional waiting, distance, stops, destinations or travel days requested after confirmation may change the fare.
4. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
Cancellation and rescheduling terms depend on the vehicle, route, season and notice provided. The applicable cancellation terms should be confirmed in writing before payment. Non-refundable costs already committed to third parties may be deducted from any eligible refund.
If we cannot provide the confirmed service, we may offer a comparable replacement, reschedule the journey or refund the amount received for the unavailable service, as appropriate.
5. Passenger responsibilities
- Arrive at the agreed pickup point on time and follow reasonable driver safety instructions.
- Do not exceed the confirmed passenger or luggage capacity.
- Do not carry illegal, hazardous or prohibited items.
- Maintain respectful conduct and avoid damage to the vehicle.
- Ensure children, elderly passengers and personal belongings are appropriately supervised.
The customer may be responsible for cleaning, repair, penalties or losses caused by passenger misconduct or negligence.
6. Safety and service refusal
Drivers must follow applicable traffic and safety laws. We or the driver may refuse or discontinue service where conduct, passenger load, route conditions, illegal activity or safety concerns create unreasonable risk. No itinerary requires a driver to violate driving-hour, traffic or road-safety requirements.
7. Delays, changes and limitation of responsibility
Travel may be affected by traffic, weather, mechanical issues, road conditions, religious events, strikes, government restrictions and other circumstances beyond reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to assist but cannot guarantee arrival times or responsibility for indirect losses, missed connections or consequential expenses arising from such events, to the extent permitted by law.
Third-party hotels, attractions and other providers are responsible for their own services. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
8. Website and intellectual property
Website text, branding and layout belong to Maa Sharda Travels or their respective licensors. Content is provided for general information and may be updated without notice. Users must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or copy protected content for commercial use without permission.
9. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by applicable laws of India. The parties should first attempt to resolve concerns directly and in good faith. Subject to applicable consumer law, courts with jurisdiction in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh will have jurisdiction over disputes.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when services, commercial practices or legal requirements change. The version published at the time of booking will apply unless otherwise agreed in writing.
